Support and Services goals

To assist families in learning how to decode autism to gain inclusivity, diversity, and self-actualization.

Family Learning for Autism (FLFA) works with you to customize the best approach to counselling, using a variety of humanitarian counselling and mental health theories, in an informal setting.

Day to day living is unpredictable and FLFA easily shifts gears to accomodate changing objectives.

Guided by Human Services Practitioner principles, Family Learning for Autism fills this gap in services by using an interdisciplinary approach to problem remediation, to change motivation, and grow capacity for positive decision making, which increases executive function and theory of mind.

With extensive experience in healthcare, education, behaviour analysis, social work, group home supports, volunteering, and more, FLFA’s methods fill in the gaps by teaching people how to decode autism and how to reimagine the environmental triggers that often initiate unhappiness.
